ClinicUp is a healthcare startup connecting patients with medical consults online.
Challenge
As a brand new startup, ClinicUp required a visual identity; they needed a logo, branding and a strategic approach to visually communicate their mission to their audience.
Solution
To provide a brand new logo and identity package, including guidelines, photography, icons, guiding principles and designed elements to the client so they would have everything they needed to start marketing.
Process
The process began with a discovery call with the company founders; we chatted about the origins of the company, its goals, the solutions they wanted to provide for their customers, and their competition. After chatting at length, I created a draft document that outlined the personality and approach of the brand.
After more research, I created initial concepts through moodboards and sketches. Several of these initial design sketches were designed into logo options along with a colour palette. Concepts were presented to the client and discussed on a call. Logo concepts were revised, tested, and tweaked.
When the logo, typography and colours were finalized, I worked with the client in applying the design to their new website, created a set of unique icons for their services, and curated photography for use in their online materials.
Results
ClinicUp successfully launched their services this year, and has been well received by their audiences; they are currently growing and forming partnerships with pharmaceutical and medical organizations.
