You.i TV is a software provider for media companies looking to develop cross-platform video apps.
My role
Besides working on the visual design of video-streaming apps, I supported You.i TV’s marketing initiatives for both client-facing and internal company projects. This would include creating swag for in-office distribution, designing for physical environments at branded events, website design support, and more. During my time at You.i TV, I created and standardized design templates for products such as pitch decks, whitepapers and styleguides.
Elevating pitches
Before creating templates, internal stakeholders at You.i TV often had to create presentations and pitches to potential clients from scratch; this created a lot of duplicated efforts and inconsistent final products. My role was in creating a master pitch deck template within Google slides, and to elevate the design to create something useable for important pitches, or for internal facing company presentations.
Company culture
For internal-facing, company-culture related products, I created a more light and fun variation of the You.i brand that was consistent with the overall look and feel, but could stand alone. Icons and illustrations were created from unique aspects of the team culture, such as giveaway items, internal mottos, etc.
Company announcements
For specific events and announcements, I created a series of artwork that would be used to promote company perks and parties. These would be posted digitally and around the physical office.
Client gifts
I worked with the marketing team to create the design and packaging for a You.i branded puzzle that would be mailed to attendees of an online event.
Event design
Under a tight deadline, I designed the external and internal layout for a booth that was be used by You.i TV at the IBC conference in Amsterdam in 2019. After studying the floorplan of the event space, I created wall graphics with the goal of drawing traffic fro surrounding corridors towards the main entrance of the You.i TV booth.
